Recomendations for Mommy gear from a seasoned mother of three. I am not one for having loads of gadgets (I hate having extra stuff to carry around) but there are a few things that have worked so well for us I feel I simply must share them.

• The Sandblaster Instant-Install Umbrella When I saw this product I thought “yer right it goes in easily” but I was buying a shelter and my husband wanted an umbrella. The price was so good I thought I would get it to keep him quiet and just use it when he is around. Well I will never go to the beach again without it. On it’s first day of use all the other umbrellas on the beach blew down and it was the only one left standing. Not to mention it stood up to 3 kids swinging from it and it really is too easy to instal. I love creative inventions!! The person that thought this umbrella up was really using their thinking cap!
• Rio beach cabana This thing is just great. Really easy to use, stands up to wind, light weight and easy to carry and huge. Plenty of room for our family of 5. (Especially when used with the umbrella) I just can’t believe the price!
• Hand blender This made my life so much easier. I had so much trouble making baby food with my food processor that I ended up making large quatities at a time and freezing them. The hand held blender meant I could give baby almost anything (even raw carrots) quickly and easily. I only wish I had gotten it sooner! This should be high on the baby shower registry!
