The 5 Tibetan Rites

OK I feel so wonderful when I do these every day that I feel I simply must share this info. (OMG I am a closet evangelist!) I cannot express how much better they make me feel and I look great too! It is such a tiny time investment that anyone can do it.

I have to confess that I am an ice-cream addict. I would like to tell you that I eat ice-cream 5 days out of the week but I am not sure I can even skip 2 days a week. Probably more like 2 or 3 days in a month. I am not talking lady like portions here either, I am talking mountain sized bowls of ice-cream and I have even been known to add such evil things as caramel to my unladylike portions. That being said doing the 5 Tibetans daily keeps the ice-cream from my butt. It’s true!! The 5 Tibetans are 5 simple exercises done in 21 repetitions. I can complete this in 20 minutes easily (now that I am practiced), less if I rush it. Your body will feel toned in areas you hardly realize you actually use. When I practice the 5 Tibetans regularly my back, which has 3 vertebrae that refuse to follow pack mentality and choose to go their own way, is completely healed and never in pain. I feel much less tired and need less sleep. In fact if done too closely to bed time I cannot sleep.  My kids love to mimic me as I do it. Often times ending in them “monkeying” all over me while I try to do it which can be ever so slightly distracting. I was taught by my yoga instructor (who I very sadly am unable to see now that I have 3 babes and a husband that is not home when classes are available) but I found a very helpful website that gives you all you need to know to start. I often refer to it to make sure I am doing it right. Here is the URL: Life Events: The 5 Tibetan Energy Rejuvenation Rites I once had a dream that I wrote a book promoting these and that it did really well. I pitched the idea to a friend but got a very lukewarm response so I didn’t pursue it. I have now found someone who has made an Aussie book and is in the process of the US version. Funny! Perhaps I was just dreaming about her. For those who are curious here she is: http://www.thefivetibetans.blogspot.com/ OK, enough rambling, it is time for me to hit the freezer up for tonites fix. If anyone does decide to give this a try and has anything to say would love to hear about it!
