So I managed to pull of the best birthday surprise ever! I came in yesterday after picking it up and BQ had taken the kids to the play place down the street so I called him and told him I had done something really bad to his car, please don’t be mad. I made out I had crashed it and he was fuming. So I told him I would drive it down to him so he could see. I walked in and handed him a new key. He tried to play really mad but I could see him grinning when he got in. It was so cute. I guess we know eachother pretty well after 12 years as I picked just right. The only thing he said he would have prefered was cruise control but that was another 2K and I was afraid to go that high. Should have gotten him the sportier one but he is very happy with this one. I drives really nice. So much nicer than his old one. I can’t believe the trade in they gave me in his car. It leaked was so so motor wise (it stalled on me when I was driving it in NYC several times) and it had almost 200,000 miles on it.

BQ was trying to act like he thought it was crazy that I had done this for him and he didn’t need a new car but he texted all his friends so I think he was pretty chuffed. He said I choose well. He drives 120 + miles a day he should be comfortable and it is not like a civic is a luxury car. His one was 2002, if he gets a new one every 7 years it is still cheaper than getting a BMW and keeping it twice that! I am terribly jealous of his radio. My car was more than twice his and his radio is so much nicer.

Last night K and I decided to go see the Watchmen. We met at the coffee spot and whilest drinking coffee my earing was annoying me getting caught in my hair so I decided we should run over to the mall and get her ears pierced (she had been wanting to do it for a while) and I could pick up a new earing. Off we go and not only did K get a second piercing but a 3rd in each ear too. lol then while waiting I decided what the heck might as well get a new one myself. It’s not like I have enough already. I now have 5 lower in one ear and 6 lower in the other. Totally random and we hadn’t even been drinking! Lucky there isn’t a tatoo palor in the mall!! So after that I lost the key to the car and had to run about the mall hunting for it. K goes out to “gaurd the car” what she thinks she is going to do if someone who has the key comes up to steal it. But it sounded like a good plan at the time! I finally locate the key which had dropped out of my pocket and been handed in to mall security. Thank you wonderful person that handed it in!!

We rush over to the movie theatre only 10mins late to the movie. The movie was awesome and I can’t wait until it is out on DVD so I can watch it over and over again.

K and I went out to the local hangout for a drink afterwards. We had a hard time with annoying guys this time. Seems the St Patties day parade left a tonne of unpleasant drunk guys at the bar that thought they stood a chance of taking someone home with them. ick. We like the band that was playing so we hung out close to them and at one point the lead singer was dancing with us and kidding about was pretty fun.

EQ is much improved. He is no longer needing night treatments. He even looks like he might make it to school tommorrow.

ZQ and BQ are out skiing. I better catch up on this housework.
