“Ooooh Dr I feel faint”

So I feel like one of those corset wearing ladies of old times that would faint in a room filled with men and have a swarm of men about them ‘coming to their rescue’.
Eq got his cast off today. All is fine and it seems he has healed well. His arm has this terrible reaction to the materials in the cast & looks pretty grosse. The Dr was a little concerned about it but hopes it will clear in a week.
So the story… as the Dr was explaining to me about activity restrictions and concerns etc I start to feel not so good. Eventually I have to sit down and he starts to get concerned. Right as the lights are about to go out he jumps up and lays me down on the bed. (lucky as the stars had come and I was going out) Yes folks I fainted at the Drs surgery. I now have the Dr taking my blood pressure, another holding my feet in the air, another rushing to get me water and a male nurse for spare. It was such a scene! I came right after a while and I am sure it was just from lack of iron after having the flu all last week and still not quite being 100%. My girlfriend is already teasing me about how the Dr was just cute! “sure you were sick. did you get him to give you mouth to mouth” lol. Once I started to feel better I did see the comical side of it. The Drs were teasing me about how they see it somewhat often in the office but it is USUALLY when they are doing something grosse with the child like reseting a break. They said I was the first to just drop on them for no reason. At least I am special. lol
Eq’s arm is at least mended and we can go back to normal activity. He has slowed down a bit this time. I think the Dr threatening that he had to report him scared a TINY bit of sense into him.
School is going well for both boys. They are both very happy and have a good fit. EQ got a placement at Zqs school and I turned it down. It would make my life easier but he is settled and happy where he is and I have no desire to uproot him just to suit my life more. Plus I think he will be better off with the larger class size especially when it comes to the sports and stuff which he will NEED to do.
The weekend Yankee stadium was to be torn down EQ heard on the radio on the way to school and cried all the way to school. “HOW CAN I BECOME A YANKEE IF I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO THE REAL YANKEE STADIUM???” He was soo upset. So I called bq and last minute he comes up with tickets (wow what a save!) we went to the second to last game at the stadium and made a little boy VERY happy. We have been practicing baseball together and I really think he just might be good at it. Who knows, maybe he will achieve his goal of becoming a yankee! He certainly is very athletic.
None of the kids are used to the school schedule of getting up at 6am. They are at eachothers throats constantly and being sick last week they are showing signs of utter attention neglect and being bratty. Unfortunetly the housework does not stop when you are sick so as I am playing catch up with it I have to neglect them more. Sigh. Soon perhaps we will get in the swing of things.
Well there are sheets to be changed and children to be put to bed so better get to it.
Please karma, please, no more broken bones…
