I slept in today but managed to get ZQ to school just in time. We had to drive anyway as he had to take in his 100 day project today. His teacher loved it and made such a fuss of it. Poor ZQ I am not even sure he realises that he is teachers pet. She just adores him. He is such an attentive student. It was very cute to go in and see him in class today. He came home with a tonne of homework from last week being sick. He was complaining royally about having to do it all in one day but I said we could take a look and spread it out if we needed to but I doubted we needed to.
We sat down and he had it all done so quickly. It was pretty funny. All that fuss over nothing.
So then we decided to get the valentines cards finished so that we didn’t have to think about them after we got back from Florida. EQ also had instructions to do valentines come home with him today so he had to make some too.
ZQ wrote “Happy Valentine’s Day, Love, ZQ” on 23 cards and addressed the envelopes. (we had already started so not ALL of them today but a great deal)
EQ wrote “Love Elijah” inside 21 cards. He did very well once he got started and even got quite artistic with them.
So when I was asking EQ to come and do them I explained that we had instructions from his teachers to do these. So he replies “yer the instructions are you do them all & I will watch!” toadie!! He actually thought he was going to get away with that one too!
I had league tonight. I was really calm and focused tonight despite being still pretty sick. I had a really good night and did really well. I got a hot cartridge stuck inside my sweater sleeve against my arm and I calmly let it blister my skin while i slowly and calmy dealt with the situation. It was awesome that I had such focus. They burn like a motherf***r! So I now proudly wear a scar on my left wrist
AQ and I went to see K today. AQ and D play so sweetly together. Very cute. It was nice to catch up with K.
I had a very productive and pleasant day which was really refreshing after being so sick and stuck in the house tending other sick people!
