So ZQs fever was raging again today and AQ sounded chesty as soon as she stopped the lousy antibiotic she was on. So it was back to the Dr today. He sent us off to the hospital for a chest xray for ZQ and a flu test. Of course the flu came back positive. I didn’t need a test to tell me that! ARGH! The chest xray came back negative for pnumonia which was good but after having to spend the day at the hospital sick and tired with 3 sick and tired kids I felt like killing someone! The worst part was I forgot my phone so I was unable to call for asistance. (K’s kids also have the flu so I wouldn’t have been infecting them by leaving 1 with her. Boy did she tell me off when I got home! lol)
Poor ZQ he was so excited from skiing with his Dad that he just did not get enough sleep and then got sick. Poor wee man. It doesn’t help that all these working families have been sending thier kids to school sick. I understand it is hard but I really don’t appreciate getting their bugs!
And if we managed to catch anything else at the hospital I swear I am on the next plane to Hawaii!!! lol
BQ called and wants us to go to Orlando with him next week to warm up. I don’t know if it is worth the getting everyone run down and exposed to the travel bugs… but he really wants us to go and the kids do like it there… Tickets are cheap right now for some reason too.
My poor little sick boy. I am soo worried about him. He looses so much weight when he gets sick it scares me! He sat on my knee at the hospital just kind of whimpering - and no that wasn’t whimpy as it was exactly what I felt like doing at that point! He is getting so big and independant that it is pretty nice to sneak in some cuddles though!
OK so lets hope tonight is a puke free night and I will actually get some sleep… whats the bet?? lol
