We just completed another lesson and I have to say that I am so thrilled. I cannot believe that his teacher had me so freaked out! I was convinced we were going to need serious help. He just needed more confidence. He is improving in leaps and bounds and even learning to cope with things like too much dairy or bad food makes him write letters backwards. He can see the mistake and correct it. He is amazing. He is starting to enjoy learning and now for spare time fun he likes to write lists! From a boy who thought he would never catch up to a boy who loves to write things down! The last few months we have been working really hard and I am glad that we are finding our groove and making it work. He has faith in me now when I tell him that practice will get us through and there is no more feeling like I am torturing him.
Darn it where is my camera?? There is a squirrel sitting on my deck starring at me in perfect lighting. Sigh.
