Never invite me to a pool party!

Had a pretty nice weekend. Memorial Day weekend so those working types got Monday off, even my husband! We had a last minute BBQ with some of the work crowd. Was nice to see them all again. Even some of the OLD crew showed up. Rosemary and her family came and I think we didn’t scare them too much. lol. I made soo much food and surprisingly it all got eaten. I also made FABULOUS drinks. A berry martini that only the very brave could handle and a raspberry lemonade that I could barely make fast enough. We had some very mellow Summer buz’s going on.

The infection in my sinus from allergies moved down into my throat and I lost my voice. Sunday I felt terrible so BQ took the kids fishing. AQ caught a fish and is VERY proud of herself. The kids had a great time.

Monday we had a BBQ/Pool party at one of the Irish crowds’. A great party. Most of the party including the fully clothed adults ended in the pool. Note to self never wear white to a pool party!

Been a busy week so far. So busy I can’t even really recal how it has gone. Finally had a playdate with Cindy and her kids (her husband is from NZ so we have tonnes in common). The kids had a lovely time and it was nice to hang out with someone so laid back.

AQ and EQ are still loving gymnastics.

The house is a wreak… best get to it….
