OK so state the obvious but you really should not read Stephen King when you are going to be home alone. lol

We had a lovely day today. Started with seeing a musical as a field trip with the school. I was worried about AQ sitting through it but you would have think I had glued her to the seat! She was intoxicated. I would not be at all surprised if she goes into something like theatre or music as a vocation. Half the mothers spent more time watching her facial expressions than the show. It was a Winnie the Pooh Holiday special at a theatre that is in a castle. It was a really neat theatre. The show was good enough for kids but not something I would have picked to go to. The boys were entertained. I thought Winnie the Pooh was just awful but the others in the cast were great. AQ was really upset when Eyore lost his tail, she kept saying “Eyore crying” “huggie” “help muma”. She is really sensitive to other people crying. Once when I was crying (hit my head on a hormonal day) she rushed to my side and said “It’s ok mumma. Huggie Mumma”

After lunch we went outside for a woods walk - without jackets! Loving this weather!! We startled a deer, hunted for fungus/mushrooms and threw stick boats in the river. Oh and played save the Kali baby from the squigy mud. Funny how you don’t notice just how much shorter their legs are until they step into something grosse and you realise it is up to their armpits -lol.

We made christmas wreaths for the kids to put on their windows - we have decided to make the outside of the house look lovely and festive to help hide how awful the inside is.

And I am sick of washing dishes by hand! lol. It is not actually the washing them by hand that is so much of the bother but the lack of anywhere to put em when they r washed, currently they sit on a towel on the floor! It is just comical at our house right now. Shower in a plastic wrapped box in the basement, dishes on a towel on the floor, cooking on a little plug in element… thankfully we have a fridge. Must finish cleaning up.
