I came downstairs after putting kids to bed last night and not only was the game NOT ON but I was given flowers and a glass of champagne and strawberries and greated by a very relaxed man that I barely recognised. BQ promised that the gaming frenzy was over and he was sorry. We spent a lovely evening together and he even offered that I get an Au Pair. (Not going to do but it was nice to have the offer)

So nice to have my husband returned. Now he is in Boston though. Sigh. Traveling every week again for the next few months.

AQ and EQ are sick again though strep free. Turns out a kid at EQs school had to be hospitalised for croup so lucky us got to pick up that virus. Woo hoo. ZQ has been fighting it off though. So there is hope that his immune system is getting stronger and these days of constant illness will soon be gone…

I am starting to believe the strep carrier theory. Not really sure that there is much we can do if that is the case. Time to read up some more.

The electrician discovered a couple of mistakes in our kitchen plan yesterday. Thankfully before the cabinets were ordered. But it means back to the start. As they have to be ordered next week starting to panic. Plummer and Electrician costs are going to be much higher than expected. I now have a daily headache that sets in around 4pm every day.
