A WHOLE NIGHTS SLEEP!!!

I slept in my own bed all night uninterupted!!!!!! WOOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I put the boys in bed, kissed them, laid down with AQ for a bit, went back and the boys were asleep. I got up at my alarm of 7am and the only other person in my bed was my husband!!!!!!!!!!! Oh if only I could have say 3 nights a week of this I could be an entirely different person!

Had a nice day today. The kids ate their breakfast on the porch while they watched a huge dumpster being delivered in our driveway. Dropped the boys at school and took AQ to the park. Gorgeous warm weather, I do wish it would stay. When it was time to go and get the boys I asked AQ if she wanted to go and get her brothers and her answer was “NOT!!!!!!! I go hide”. lol. I think she might like having me all to herself. Later on in the afternoon though we were sitting on the steps eating snacks and she spontaineously hugged EQ and said “love u brubba” and then went to ZQ and did the same. Both boys responded with the same!!! It was shocking.

BQ in Boston.

EQ was crying at outside play time at school today. He said that he the sun was in his eyes. He said later that perhaps I should have given him more hugs before he went to school. I think he is so shy that sometimes it is a bit overwhelming for him. But all the kids were all over him like they just thought he was the greatest guy ever so I don’t think that it is because he isn’t getting along with any of the kids.

We went to Park Lake this afternoon. The boys now ride their bikes so fast I have to run much of the time. It was a nice afternoon. Such wonderful weather!!!

When we got home I opened up the back of the dumpster and the kids helped put some of the kitchen tile in. It was really cute. They have been so helpful.

We had a really wonderful weekend. The first BQ has spent with us in a very long time. It was really nice. We worked on the house, it is nuts how awful it is to live in right now, then on Sunday we went to Lentinis Corn maze which was great fun. Of course my kids were all about cheating and running through the corn. Aparantly this was far more fun. It was a little scary trying to keep track of tiny AQ but fortunetly she mostly followed her brothers. BQ whipped my butt with a corn stalk - yes folks this leaves a nasty mark!!

The builder came and did the kitchen measure so I am driving up to Harrisburg after school on Friday to go order the cabinets with Popi. I will be so glad when all this is done. I am having so much trouble keeping track of everything.

I am tired. Must finish up cleaning and go to bed. Joke, seems ridiculous that I am even attempting to clean this craziness. There is drywall dust everywhere. Half walls all over the place and the bathroom upstairs you can’t even enter. You can see the downstairs through the floor upstairs in spots! Sigh. It will all be done soon enough then I will return to sanity.

I went down to the school I was thinking about for ZQ. I am not set on it. It is a little too far away and doesn’t quite feel like the perfect fit. I have found another that I am going to call tommorrow http://www.unity-nj.org/main/.

We had our first field trip with the boys school on Friday. A farm trip to pick pumpkins, apples and have a hayride. There was a bouncy castle too but my kids were more interested in the farm stuff - go figure, tractors! It was good fun though it was freezing. AQ took her little apple bag, watched people for a bit then wobbled over to the apple trees and picked her own apples. It was adorable. They all had a good time and it was nice to get to chat with some of the mums.

I almost forgot. I got a message on my answer machine today from an angry neighbour. “She says, there is a lincoln towncar in my driveway in front of my garage blocking my car in. I saw the dumpster in your driveway this morning and I thought maybe it was your car. Could you call me back as soon as possible as I really need this moved if it is yours or if you know whos it is please have them move it.” I was so confused I went outside and sure enough parked up right against her garage (as in not just blocking the driveway on the street but really up the driveway) was a lincoln towncar. I called her and said its not ours. I then offered up the explaination that I thought another neighbour drove a towncar and recently I saw her driving a rental car so I assume she had hers in the shop. They are away on vacation right now so perhaps they fixed it and dropped it off at the wrong house. She went on about how she needed it moved and the police wouldn’t tow it as it was a neighbours car but they wouldn’t tell her which one. I just can’t believe that we are thought so poorly of that she would assume that we would do such a thing. First off, yes there is a huge dumpster in my driveway but even still there is STILL room for 4 cars in my driveway and that does not include parking on the street in front of our house!! Why on earth would I drive up HER driveway??? EVER for ANY reason???? I must be a terrible neighbour to make her think that we would do such a thing. Glad they are selling. Hopefully we will get in a fresh young family that will not be privy to the other neighbours gossip. lol. Ran into her the other day. She was typically nosey and downright mean about me having the kitchen done. A thought occured to me about that. She built her house. She got to choose her kitchen when she built. So if she unhappy with her own kitchen she has only herself to blame. She totally thinks I am a spoilt little bitch and is not very good at masking her opinion. I do remember the comment I made that set her off too. On the whole they are all pretty good neighbours though. Can’t complain too loudly. This is actually the first interaction almost at all that we have had with next door so really can’t complain.
