I went down to the local bar with my neighbour this evening and it was karaoke night. I did not sing (had to drive so couldn’t drink that much -lol) but we had to yell over the music. That teamed with the reaction to the drywall dust etc in the house and I have no voice. Just tried to talk to husband and nothing came out.

Had a lovely evening catching up with neighbour. It was so nice to be out of the house with an adult.

I had a lovely day too. After I dropped the boys off I asked AQ what she would like to do and she said “let’s go park” I said it was raining so I suggested the mall, she almost leapt out of the car with excitment. So we went to the mall and had chocolate milk and wandered around. I bought her a little purse (yes I am aware I spoil her) and she walked around the mall with it on her shoulder and stopped everyone in their tracks as she was so cute.

We picked up the boys and I put AQ to sleep and worked on getting a bed space in the office for Mum. Then we had a wonderful afernoon outside playing together and having a blast. We went for a woods walk and found all kinds of neat fungus including the earth star puff balls. Seriously creepy fungus! We had a blast. We also had a good look at a tree that was composting with all kinds of great bugs etc. We had a great time. Also found some rocks and even AQ helped carry some out and put them into the garden.

We came in and the kids loaded the broken tile out of the box on the kitchen floor and into buckets while I carried them into the dumpster. I can’t believe how quickly we cleared that mess. They are such great helpers.

Well time for bed I guess.
