Well not quite. I did tear part of the wall down but a long ways to go yet!

Spent the day tearing up the floor with the kids. They weren’t nearly as interested in it today but I still managed to get all the tile up as well as some cabinets down. I tried all day to figure out how to get the floor down without having to remove my kitchen (trying to keep the use of the kitchen for as long as possible) but there is just no getting around it. The kitchen has to be torn up and down for about 6 weeks (and that is hoping nothing goes wrong).

I have started cleaning out cubboards. I already spring cleaned this year but it seems there is still some stuff that can go. I am excited about ripping up the carpet but think I will wait until the dumpster gets here before I attempt that. Bit worried about exposed wires when the wall comes down. How am I to keep the kids from them?

Well I am exhausted and we have school in the morning…

Injuries so far: Many, many slices on my fingers and the blister must have been about 500 layers of skin because it keeps splitting and bleeding. I just looked at my fingers and it looks like I have been playing that knife game where you stab it between your fingers but missing -lol.
