Had a pretty quiet day today. Reasonable weather so we hit the park for the afternoon. AQ was REALLY crabby though so it was a fairly short trip.

I had another guy come in for an estimate today. The whole thing is making my head hurt.

BQ had some great news and some horrible news today. Things at work are going really well and getting MUCH better for him. The bad news is that his Dad is in critical care. So we may have a trip to New Mexico in our near future. His Great Grandmother is there and I have been dying to take the kids to see her so there will be an upside. I am worried about him but I know it is silly as he is simply the strongest person I know. I think I worry for him more for what I think I would be going through with similar news.

I wasted away my few spare minutes this evening reading “Emily’s blog”. Possibly an urban legend but funny all the same: her blog, the actual billborad in New York City right now she cracks me up.

OK so back to work….

Oh, almost forgot. I think BQ flipped out my lady I shop for when she called at 1am or whatever ungodly hour it was. He said he was pretty rude/blunt and if she was unstable he might have shaken her a little… anyway. I called today to ask when she wanted me to shop for her etc and 30 minutes later I get a call from the volunteer co-ordinator saying that she had just received a call from her and that she sounded distressed and that she said “that she was not in her apartment and wouldn’t be for about a month and wanted me to be contacted as she didn’t want to concern me”. It was all very strange. She has my number, why didn’t she call me? I really hope I did not upset her or worse make her flip out. I think I am going to call the co-ordinator back tommorrow to make sure she is ok and I didn’t do anything wrong.
