So this morning I got up to go to work.  It was still raining…..I showered…oh no wait first I made coffee!  Ok then the day started…..I showered, got dressed and got Gavin and myself out the door.  On my way I see my sunglasses just sitting there on the counter.  They looked so sad just sitting there lost without the sunshine.

I said to myself…Hmmmm?  Maybe, just maybe if I wear the sunglasses on my head today someone up above will look down on my and go…Oh yea!  Duh!  Those people need sunshine to go with the rain!  Now wouldnt you know it I am driving down route 80 and there it was….The sun came out!!!  Hurray!!!!

I got to wear my sunglasses all day today.  It was glorious!  I drove around with my windows open in the car.  So me and the sunglasses went to work.  Got lots of paperwork done.  After work I picked up Gavin from my mom’s house.  Gavin and my mom had gone out collecting milkweed for the Monarch butterfly caterpillars to eat.  Gavin now has his own caterpillar to raise and watch it emerge into a butterfly.  It’s a really amazing thing to see.

We did some food shopping on the way home as we were pretty much looking at an empty pantry.  When we got home Gavin played outside with  S from next door.  I sat outside in the hammock and worked on reading more of the web design book.  Not as easy as I thought it was going to be.  I do love a challenge though!

I made homemade enchilladas for dinner!  Now everyone reading pick yourselves up off the floor and get over the shock of me cooking.  They were pretty good!  I guess maybe I wasnt such a bad cook afterall. 

So everyone is sitting and relaxing now.  Gavin has gone off to bed and I have some time to myself.  Maybe I can even get some scrapbooking done!  That will have to wait till after the ice cream I bought today..Yummmmmm!!!
