BFG IS LIVE BABY!!!!!!! WOOOHOOO!!!!! Throwing myself a luanch party right now. LOL! Actually it is only live for affiliates, there are tonnes of bugs to fix etc but it is out there. Release date was Monday - which I delivered  - YER BABY! Dancing a little dance right now. BQ took the boys both Sunday and Monday afternoons and I worked until 5am both nights. I feel like my arse needs a vacation! OUCH! How did I used to do this?

SO folks that is where I have been. ZQ said to me tonite that he had a lovely day and he was glad he didn’t have to miss me today, meaning that he missed me on Sunday and Monday. I was very glad to hear it.

  

We did have a lovely day too. Despite how beyond tired I was. I actually know how ZQ feels now, if I stopped moving at any point I would fall asleep on my feet! I am sure I drank enough coffee to take a few years off my heart.
Well I hope y’all enjoyed Spring. It was nice but TOOO SHORT!!!!!!!!!!! Summer has hit. 35 degrees and HUMID. At least 500% humidity. I took the kids outside today and AQ had trouble breathing so had to bring them right back in. YUCK!! OK so why do we live here??? TOO FREAKIN cold in the winter TOO FREAKIN humid in the Summer… ARGH!!! And I am sooo sick of ticks!
My package finally got to Maryland today. Woohoo! I can actually put things together and get them sent… it just takes a while.
I got a call this afternoon from House Calls for Seniors (or Visiting Nurse Association - VNA) and they are looking into getting us another assignment. Aparantly now they have loads of seniors and not many volunteers. I almost signed up for two.
The boys are in the same size underpants so we have had to label them. It is so cute to watch them race to the drawer and investigate which one has the E or Z on them. (Thank goodness I thought of folding them so you can see the letter! I would have to refold them every morning) I can’t believe Elijah is not in nappies anymore. It is soo wonderful.
ZQ asked me to scan his picture and put it on my PC today. (Much like I do for my comic strip etc) I did it and he was very pleased with himself. When I removed the pic off the scanner he was stunned. I had to explain to him that the PC didn’t eat the picture just took a copy.
I have 456 emails I have been ignoring, oh, wait, make that 457. Yikes. I have updates to put on my own site… so much to do so little time.
Did I mention that it was bloody humid today?
We went to Siobhan’s 30th birthday party on Saturday. Good fun. She had a 70s theme and I actually managed to throw together a last minute 70s outfit. I wore platforms (haha big surprise!) BIIIIIG earings, a long satin dress with a belt on it and hair out and straight. Siobhans sister had her hair in a better 70s style with the tiny rolled braids tied in back. She looked great. It was a good time. BQ played baseball all afternoon with all the kids outside. Some of Siobhans cousins (girls too) can REALLY hit a ball! BQ made a 5 year old cry by catching him out. lol. He whinged about being sore all weekend. Beaten up by a bunch of kids! EQ spent all afternoon having Sarah chase him around and dote on him.
Siobhan gave US a present at HER party. Now how does that make sense you ask? I too ask myself that same question! Though I do have to admit ALL the kids love it. She bought AQ a lovely adarondack chair that is painted pink and VERY girly. It is just gorgeous and the kids love it. AQ sits on it like she is a little princess.
Lets see, what else has been happening. Been so long since I updated I barely remember. Oh, did I mention the hammock?? Just checked, it really has been a while since I updated!
We put up the hammock last week. I put it up and we all sat in it and read books for 2 hours then I let the boys climb and swing on it for another hour at which point I had to drag everyone in to eat. It was cute. AQ of course decided it is a milky spot and now every time I sit on it I have to feed her. I put it on the other side of the house between the two trees, next to my new garden spot. It looks more like it belongs there and is a comfier spot to have it so we have been using it loads. I am not sure it will hold up to another year after this though. It is looking a little tattered/well loved.
We decided that we are going to put my mothers day tourches out there and have that be an evening spot too.
The boys went to the park with Daddy (Park Lake) on Sunday. They went into the goose-poop leech infested water and came back… well lets just say there had to leave their clothes on the doorstep and were required to go straight to the shower…
On Monday, Memorial Day, they went for a walk in the woods and aparanlty NEEDED to go on a steam adventure which required that they walk in the stream all the way up until the got to someones yard. Again they were required to leave their clothes outside and proceed immediately to the shower…
I would say it was nice to have a break and some peaceful time over the weekend but it wasn’t like I took time for myself. I barely noticed as I was working so hard.
DARN IT I just saw a carpenter ant in the house. I hope they are not eating the house. BQ wants to spray the house and yard with all sorts of chemicals to kill em. Not if he wants me to live here.
AQ got up with me and sat on my lap while I worked the last couple of evenings. She has been so out of sorts but I think she is finally coming right. I wrapped her yesterday and put her in the basement to sleep (as it is the only cool place in the house) and she took a really good nap. First in a long time. She doesn’t sound croaky anymore so I think she is feeling better.
EQ, however is croaky still. He has soo many bug bites and is reacting to them so badly that I think his body is having a hard time getting better. ZQ seems to be coming right but couldn’t get to sleep due to the heat tonight so we shall see how he is tommorrow.
AQ gets better and better at communicating every day. It is so cute. Now she makes a funny ‘hmph’ sound and I ask her “do you need help” and she says “YER!”. The way she says yer is so slow and precise, like she really wants to get it just perfect. Very cute. I cuddle her and ask her if she is mummy’s girl and she says “yer.”
My bear has been pretty mad at me since I took ZQ out. I think he is starting to forgive me but it is taking a lot.
Well the housework got REALLY neglected over the weekend so I better get off my butt and get to it before I pass out. Happy Aniversary Mum and Dad (for the 28th), hope you did something nice.

OMG. I was just going through my email. I had to unsubscribe to the ADD groups as they were FAR from helpful. NO-ONE works with their child for coping techniques or anything. They just drug em! I am scared, depressed and worried….
