Although the humidity was again 5million percent we had a lovely day. We hung out on the deck until the kids got bored then jumped in the car and hit the park. I decided to have a computer free day so did not IM Siobhan today before we left which we always do and wouldn’t you know it we run into her Dad while we were there and he was asking “so where is G?” LOL. It was hot so we played “working in ZQs office” under the play equipment and tried to stay in the shade.
A quick trip to the grocery store then home to play under the sprinkler. The neighbours came over and their mother gave them permission to get a little wet… sent them back shall we say… SOAKED. oops. They had so much fun though. Was nice to chit chat with the neighbour. It seems she was avoiding going home as the inlaws are staying. The kids didn’t want to leave. They played in the hammock and the sprinkler and ran around with the boys and had general kid fun.
We played baseball for ages. EQ is getting really good and loving practicing. AQ came up and grabbed a bat and ball and started shouting at me. So I started throwing her the ball and she would actually try to hit it. I would throw it at the bat and it would make a nice ding sound then she would cheer for herself pick up the ball throw it back to me and say “gain”. It was very cute.
Zq has decided that he would like to be paid a quarter for learning to spell a word. lol.
EQ is pretty much potty trained. Last nite we heard him banging around and went up to find him with his nappy on the floor and him on the toilet half asleep. So I guess he is pretty much there.
AQ still has zero interest in learning to walk.
Put some ad hosting on my website and have more comic strips up. Might get some revenue from the ad hosting. That would be a bonus. Pretty cool that my tshirts are starting to sell. Would like to drive more traffic there. Will have to research that more when I have finished with the BFG website. So wierd getting back into all this after so long.
OMG I have a girl baby. You know I am still getting over her not being a boy. Not that I object but that I am just so surprised. Every now and then I see her in something girly or doing something girly and I am shocked.
Sitll have to clean the kitchen. Yikes. Who did that??
AQ was chatting to someone at bedtime tonight. Wonder who it was. She seemed to like them.
We have a new person to shop for. I have to call her and set it up tommorrow. I think they said her name is the same as the last lady we shopped for so that will be a bit confusing for the kids. She is nice and close by though so that will be nice.
So I ordered a bunch of plants ages back for the garden — STILL WAITING, pretty annoyed about that, but today a package arrived from them. I was soo excited. Tore it open. It was a plastic plant pot with a bag of soil in it. Thats it. I assume a plant is to show up seperate… lol. Was pretty funny. The kids were so confused as to why I had a box of soil delivered.
